Isotoner: Holiday Family Fun
Isotoner tasked us with creating packaging and a display that would tell a story of holiday cheer to match their fuzzy reindeer slippers. We knew that this needed to be more than a standard execution, so we set out to design a true experience for both.
Building out the idea of packaging that transforms into a holiday activity started with a single ideation page of how the slipper cards could include patterns for paper models that a family could build together. For the pitch, we created a sleigh model to bring the idea to life.
Part 01: Packaging
We knew that first and foremost, the slipper card needed to function like conventional packaging. Beyond that, sizing, construction, and material selection was key to ensure that the models could be cut out easily folded/assembed by all ages.
Part 02: Paper Models
Since the pallet would contain both adult and childrens slippers, we executed different objects for each to encourage purchasing both! The models included a sleigh, two presents, a dish for Santa’s cookies and a coaster for Santa’s milk. Our designs featured constructions that were as simple as possible and required no glue for assembly.
Part 03: Corrugated Display
To round out the presentation, we engineered a pallet that looked like a house. The display featured large-scale versions of the sleigh and gift models along with messaging that was immediately identifiable by consumers.
